Jambalaya Park Pool Rules
The following rules are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Lifeguards are certified by the American Red Cross and are authorized to enforce all rules.
- Swimming is not permitted unless a lifeguard is on duty.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Diving is strictly prohibited.
- Jambalaya Park Pool is a smoke-free facility.
- Proper swimwear is required for all swimmers.
- Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the pool deck.
- Inflatable arm floaties ("water wings") are not allowed. U.S. Coast Guard-approved swim vests are available free of charge at the pool house.
- The use of face masks covering the nose, rafts, hard plastic toys, and pool noodles is not permitted.
- The baby pool is reserved for children ages 4 and under.
- Non-swimmers must remain in shallow water and be actively supervised by an adult in the water and within arm’s reach.
- No running, rough play, or hanging on lane lines.
- Roped-off lanes are reserved for lap swimming only.
- Children who are not potty trained must wear a swim diaper and swimsuit. Regular disposable diapers are not allowed in either pool.
- All guests must check in with the lifeguard at the entry desk before entering the pool area.
- Lifeguards and pool staff may revoke swimming privileges for any guest who does not follow the rules or comply with staff instructions.
